Everest region, also known as the Khumbu region, is the most desired and the most popular destination out of all the tourism destinations in Nepal. It is also one of the most visited trekking regions of Nepal. Situated on the northeastern Nepal on the Nepalese side of mountainous landscape, this region is the major Sherpa settlement of the Himalayas.
