Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu.

Upon arrival our representative will meet you and take you to the hotel and issue your first permit. In the evening you can visit the Thamel Street, it is a very popular place. It has lot of restaurants, casinos and plenty of shops to buy trekking gears and accessories. You can also visit the Darbar Marg.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla (2850m) Flight and hike to Phadking (2660m)

After breakfast we will proceed to the Tribhuvan Domestic Airport, Kathmandu. We will take a flight to Lukla. The total flying time is of 30 minutes. The experience of flying in this route will be one of your best. The flight will be passing through valleys and presenting some breathtaking views of the mountain ranges and the Nepali villages atop. Once you arrive in Lukla, our representatives will receive you. Immediately we will start our trekking and trek to Phakding. It is at an altitude level of 2652m. It is a simple trek for 2.5 hours. The trail will pass via many small villages and green mountains. W e will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3435m)

Today we will trek for Namche Bazaar. Namche is at an altitude level of 3440m. The route is surrounded by huge green mountain ranges. The Dudh Koshi river flows along the side till Namche. We will stop at Monjo for the lunch, as that is the last point to get food before Namche. The route between Monjo and Namche is a gradually inclining trail amidst thick green forest. You will be able to get a glimpse of Everest and Lhotse just before Namche, though not very clear. Overnight stay at hotel. Total trekking will be 5 to 6 hours with moderate difficulty level and a portion after Monjo will be strenuous.

      

Day 04: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3435m)

This is a day for acclimatization and we will be resting in Namche Bazaar. It is a place that has everything one can wish for. Coffee shops, Bars, Restaurants and many more things to do. You can go to the Namche museum, this a little above Namche Bazaar, just about 20 minutes trek. You can get a clear view of Everest and Lhotse from this place. You can visit the Namche Bazaar (Market) and Namche Monastery.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3890m)

Tengboche is a small valley at an altitude level of 3860m. It is one of the most beautiful places of our entire trekking route. The Tengboche Monastery is a famous and beautiful place, worth visiting. The trek time will be about 5 hours with moderate difficulty level.

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4400m)

The trek will be about 6 to 7 hours while it will be moderate for most part, there will be about 2 steep inclines.Today we will start our trek and go towards the Pangboche village; we will get some nice views of Mount Ama Dablam. We are likely to have our lunch at Pangboche. W e will then trek towards Pheriche and proceeds to the Imja Valley. W e will be able to see the Lobuche River and will pass through it and take steep hike to Dingboche.

Day 07: Acclimatization day at Dingboche 

Today will be an acclimatization day. We can take a small hike to get a view of worlds three top mountain peaks, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu and Mount Cho Yu. Besides these, you will see plenty of peaks and mountain ranges.

Day 08:Dingbuche to Lobuche (4900m)

Breakfast at lodge and preparation for a trek. Today is hard compared to previous days. It is always hard to walk in the mountain but your dream to get into Everest base camp helps to increase your passion and strength. The way, Everest base camp trek, follows uphill and Khumbu Icefall, Pumori, and surrounding mountains are today’s highlights.

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorkasep and Everest Base Camp (5380) to Gorekshep (5180m)

Breakfast at lodge and get prepare for today’s trek. The way follows rocky uphill till Gorak Shep with surrounding view of Khumbu icefall, magnificent view of Pumori and beautiful mountains. From Gorak Shep, the way follows slightly up till Everest base camp. Congratulation! You made it. Make ready your camera to capture a photo of your lifetime adventurous journey of Everest base camp trek. A very very special day of your life. Not all people found a chance to be in Base of World Highest mountain Everest.

Day 10: Gorekshep to Kalapathar (5545m) and Pheruche (4320m) 

Today we will start our trek early in the morning to Kala Patthar. The hike to the summit of Kala Patthar is one of the most difficult and yet rewarding part of this trekking expedition of yours. You will be able to see the most beautiful and gigantic view of Mount Everest. After the Kala Pathar hike, you will Discover why Everest is the highest peak on our planet. In fact Kala Patthar is the only place from where you can get views of almost the entire high peak mountains of the Khumbu Range. It will take about3 hours to reach Kala Patthar from Gorakshep. We can’t spend much time on the top as it’s a windy place. After Kala Patthar it will be all descending from now on and the trek becomes very simple, though you have to be careful about the decline. We will need another 4 hours to reach Pheriche. It is a flat valley on the bank of Dhudhkoshi River. Overnight in a Tea House/Mountain Lodge.

Day 11: Pheruche to Namche (3435m)

Today’s trek will be a moderate trek till Namche Bazaar. We have a little hike before Tengboche and after Phungi Thanga.

Day 12: Namche to Phadking and Lukla (2835m)

Today is the last day of our trekking in Khumbu. The trek is of moderate difficulty level as we return to Lukla on the very same trail. The last hike to Lukla will appear endless as we will be in a hurry to reach Lukla, however the trail is not tough

Day 13: Lukla to Kathmandu flight 

Today we will proceed to the Airport and catch our flight to Kathmandu and enjoy the valley views throughout the 30 minutes flying time. This is a complete leisure day and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14: Departure for your onward flight

MFN, suggest you all to check up your health condition before start trekking because your health is more important than anything else.We also suggest you to keep your luggage as light as possible because we normally provide 1 helper for two trekkers to carry your bags and should have weight limitation of approximately 20-25 kg from two.

Here is a suggested list. Keep in mind, you can always add or subtract items depending on your personal needs. As time goes on and you increase your trips into the wilderness, you may discover you’re carrying too much or not enough.

Top tips for safe trekking in Nepal

. It is safer to trek in a group and with an experienced guide and reputable agency.

. Get fit. Choose a trek that suits your ability.

. Build in time for acclimatization. Stay hydrated and looks out for symptoms of altitude sickness.

. Never leave any litter behind.

What to pack?

. Layers of clothing, numerous pairs of socks, good-quality trekking boots.

. Hand warmers, under-gloves and mittens.

. Trekking poles.

. Gaithers (against leeches and/or deep snow).

. 40-litre daypack (with rain cover).

. Sleeping mat.

. Head torch and spare batteries.

. Sunglasses with UV protection, sun cream and hat.

. Lip salve and blister care.                           

. Wet wipes and tissues.

. Pocket knife/multi-bladed tool.

. Watch with altimeter/GPS.

. Emergency blanket.

. Snacks (nuts, energy bars).

. Freezer bags.                   

. Binoculars.

Be sure to inspect your kit before every trip and make sure the gear is clean and supplies are in good condition. Replace expired medications as needed and add items that would have been helpful on your previous trip. Be sure the kit is easily accessible and not buried deep in your bag.
