Trip Overview

Everest View Trek is the best one If you are short on time and who wants to observe the beauty of Everest very closely. This trek also provides the warm hospitality and the view of the culture of the native sherpas of the Himalayas residing in those areas and villages. Enjoy five days of trekking in the Khumbu with fabulous Panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Kongde Ri and Kusum Kanguru.

Everest View Trek Route

This Everest view trek starts with a 35 min flight from Kathmandu to the airstrip at Lukla. The next two days are spent hiking up the beautiful canyon of the Dudh Kosi to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar. The following morning we take a day hike to Everest View Hotel for a fantastic panorama that includes Everest and Ama Dablam.Everest View Trek Nepal is a great option to our regular 13-day excursion to Everest Base Camp.

We get one more day of hiking to visit the villages of Khunde and Khumjung which are home to many traditional Sherpa and surrounded by beautiful mountains. On the last day of trekking, we head back to Lukla from Namche for a flight the following morning back to Kathmandu. This Everest View trek always fascinates you and will certainly leave you wanting to come back to Nepal for more.

Outline Itinerary for this trek

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft)

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukala flight and trek to Phakding  (Altitude: 2,800m/9184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m/8,698ft, Phakding) (3-4 hours).

Day 03:Phakding to Namche bazaar(Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft) (5 hours)

Day 04: Namche Bazaar- Day Hike to Khunde/Khumjung and Everest view hotel then back to Namche bazaar (Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft)

Day 05: Namche to Phakding and Lukla (Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft) (6 hours)

Day 06: Lukla to Kathmandu  (Altitude: 1350m/4428ft) Flight time: 35 min

Day 07: Departure for your onwards journey. 


Detail Itinerary for Everest view trekking

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft)

Mount Face Nepal welcome you to the city of temple and the country of Himalayas. Our representative will be there at Tribhuvan International Airport to pick you up. You will be then transferred to hotel by the private Luxury Tourist vehicle. Dinner on the Typical Nepali restaurants will be offered to make a friendly environment between us while enjoying the live Nepali cultural music 

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla flight and trek to Phakding  (Altitude: 2,800m/9184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m/8,698ft, Phakding) (3-4 hours).

On this day, we will be heading towards the Lukla Airport, Popularly known as Tenzing Hillary Airport. This is one of thee most dangerous airports in the world. A flight of 30 minutes will be needed to reach the Lukla From Kathmandu. After landing in Lukla Airport we will have a short trek of 3 hours to reach Phakding. where you will have a little bit glimpse of Himalayan life of Nepal.

Day 03:Phakding to Namche bazaar(Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft) (5 hours)

On the third day, We will head towards the Namche Bazar, at the height of 3400m from the sea level. Early morning Breakfast will be provided in Phakding. This trek can be one of the most memorable journey of your life because of the scenery, experience, and adventure you will have on the trek to Namche Bazar.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar- Day Hike to Khunde/Khumjung and Everest view hotel then back to Namche bazaar (Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft)

This is an exciting day for everyone doing the Everest View Trek. The important day of the whole trekking is this day. Beautiful Scenery of Everest is waiting for you to offer the ultimate happiness. Adventurous trekking from Namche to View Point is just awesome. Lunch will be provided in Everest view hotel from where the beautiful Everest can be seen. on the noon we will trek back to Namche, have dinner and wait for our next adventurous trekking

Day 05: Namche to Phakding and Lukla (Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft) (6 hours)

On this day, we will trek back to Phakding from Namche within an approximate time of 6 hours.

Day 06: Lukla to Kathmandu  (Altitude: 1350m/4428ft) Flight time: 35 min

We will take a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu after the completion of Everest trekking  

Day 07: Departure for your onward journey.

MFN, suggest you all to check up your health condition before start trekking because your health is more important than anything else.We also suggest you to keep your luggage as light as possible because we normally provide 1 helper for two trekkers to carry your bags and should have weight limitation of approximately 20-25 kg from two.

Here is a suggested list. Keep in mind, you can always add or subtract items depending on your personal needs. As time goes on and you increase your trips into the wilderness, you may discover you’re carrying too much or not enough.

Top tips for safe trekking in Nepal

. It is safer to trek in a group and with an experienced guide and reputable agency.

. Get fit. Choose a trek that suits your ability.

. Build in time for acclimatization. Stay hydrated and looks out for symptoms of altitude sickness.

. Take note of weather conditions and forecasts, and come prepared. See mountainforcast.com

. Never leave any litter behind.

What to pack?

. Layers of clothing, numerous pairs of socks, good-quality trekking boots.

. Hand warmers, under-gloves and mittens.

. Trekking poles.

. Gaithers (against leeches and/or deep snow).

. 40-litre daypack (with rain cover).

. Sleeping mat.

. Head torch and spare batteries.

. Sunglasses with UV protection, sun cream and hat.

. Lip salve and blister care.                           

. Wet wipes and tissues.

. Pocket knife/multi-bladed tool.

. Watch with altimeter/GPS.

. Emergency blanket.

. Snacks (nuts, energy bars).

. Freezer bags.                   

. Binoculars.

Be sure to inspect your kit before every trip and make sure the gear is clean and supplies are in good condition. Replace expired medications as needed and add items that would have been helpful on your previous trip. Be sure the kit is easily accessible and not buried deep in your bag. Also be sure to tell others you are traveling with where your first aid kit is.
