Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake is the Combination of a large part of the classic Everest Base Camp trek route. It includes the relatively unexplored wonders of the Gokyo Lakes region and takes you around the wonderful valley known as Khumbu.

The adventure starts from a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. We begin our trekking from Lukla to Phakding. It is a 3-4 hours walk following the thick rhododendron,magnolia trees, and pine forests. From Phakding we head towards Namche bazaar passing through Toktak and Benkar village. We will take a rest day in Namche Bazaar and go on short hikes to adjust our body to the higher temperature. Namche Bazaar is the gateway of Mt. Everest and the main trading center of the Khumbu region.

From Namche Bazaar we ascend to Dhole, Machharmo and Gokyo. We will take another acclimatization day in Gokyo. On this day, you can climb Gokyo Ri, from where you will get the sight of the incredible panoramic view of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu. You will also get to see the grand view of six lakes from Gokyo Ri. 

We will commence our trek upwards Thangnak, Dzongla via Chola Pass, Lobuche and then The Everest Base Camp. we will explore the Everest Base Camp, take pictures and descend to Gorakshep. 

On the 13th day, we will trek to Kalapatthar to witness the incredible view of sunrise shining on Mt. Everest. We can pause to catch our breath at several outstanding viewpoints to snap pictures on our way to Kalapatthar. Climbing through the rocky outcrop near the summit marked by cairns and prayer flags, we reach the top. Kalapatthar is the main highlight and the highest elevation of this trek. Then we return to Gorakshep, have breakfast and descend to Pheriche. 

The downward trek will continue until we reach Lukla. From Lukla, we will take a return flight to Kathmandu.
