The trek to Everest Base Camp starts from Lukla, which is the gateway of Everest region, after about a 45 minutes flight from Kathmandu. As you trek up the valley from Lukla, you will be surrounded by the sky-touching peaks, such as Cho Oyu, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Namche Bazaar will be your acclimatization destination before you ascend any higher. Upon your arrival to Kalapatthar, you will be able to view the entire Mt. Everest.
