Bhutan Cultural Tour Brief Insight

Mount Face Nepal welcomes you to join in our spectacular adventure to Bhutan Cultural Tour. With a view of unique panorama, this is the journey of a lifetime for all types of people. You get to enjoy the marvelous scenery and views of giant snow-capped peaks of over 8,000 meters Mt. Everest, Cho-Oyu,  Langtang and Shisapangma and range of adjoining peaks on the scenic flight to Paro.

Bhutan possesses a rich and unique cultural heritage that largely remains unspoiled as it was isolated from the rest of the world until the mid-20th century. The country’s culture and traditions are also one of the main attractions for tourists visiting this country. Bhutanese tradition is acutely drenched in the Buddhist Heritage. Other than Buddhism, Hinduism is the second most dominant religion in Bhutan. It is most prevalent in the southern regions of the country.

The government of Bhutan has been increasingly making efforts to preserve and sustain the current culture and traditions of the country. Tourism has now become one of the major and largely growing industries in Bhutan. Because of its largely unspoiled natural environment and cultural heritage, Bhutan has been referred to as The Last Shangri-La.

On reaching the first Bhutanese town at Paro, we will be visiting some of the impressive and interesting places in the Paro area. This includes the famous Taksang Monastery known as Tiger’s Nest. The driving journey first enters the enchanting forest lined with beautiful Rhododendron, Magnolia, birch and pines trees overlooking cascading waterfalls.

Explore the Paro Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country and Drugyal Dzong. You will be enjoying a full day of sightseeing in the capital city, Thimpu. The sightseeing includes a visit to the National Memorial Chorten, National Textile Museum, the Folk Heritage Museum and School of Traditional Painting of Arts and Craft.

The pass to Punakha rewards you with the most spectacular view over the high peaks of the eastern Himalayas. Passing through the dense forests of Oak and Rhododendron trees you will reach Gangtey (Phubjika) and to Paro.

The silvery Pa Chu (Paro river) flowing down the valley, the Paro Dzong (fortress) and Ta Dzong (watchtower) will leave you astonished. Bhutan Cultural Tour will end with a visit to the famous Taktsang Gompa (Tiger’s Nest Monastery). This tour package offers you a rare opportunity to relish the authentic cultures and customs of unique valleys.

Once we’re done with visiting the special places for a cultural tour, we drive back to Paro. From Paro, you can enjoy the scenic flight to Kathmandu or Delhi for your homebound journey or to respective destination after a wonderful trip to Bhutan Cultural Tour.
