Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek is towards the north of Kathmandu valley and only south of the Tibetan visitor. It is sandwiched between the principle Himalayan range towards the north and a marginally bring down the scope of cold crests towards the south.
Toward the west of Langtang is Ganesh Himal with a scope of 6,000 to 7,000 meters. The northern part of the region gets a great extent to fall inside the limits of Langtang National Parks.
The primary ethnic gathering here is Sherpas and Tamangs whose religious practices, dialects and dress are much like those of Tibet. The timberland in this district has calm and sub-snow-capped vegetation. Natural life incorporates transient birds, deer, monkeys, Thar and Pika.
The view here is tremendous and the trek is more adventurous. Just composed outdoor or camping treks are workable for this region. Since the utilization of firewood is entirely disallowed inside the recreation center, all provisions ought to be taken with us.
Ganja La Trek, trails take you to Melamchi Gaun nad Tarke Ghyang is another Sherpa town en route, which bears its own particular story. The town name implies sanctuary of 100 steeds and was taken from the name of the sanctuary built up in 1727 by a Lama (Buddhist priest). He was approached by the lord of Kathmandu (Kantipur) to stop a plague. As his reward, the Lama requested 100 steeds, which brought here. The nearby sanctuary, remade in 1969, takes after the Bhutanese style.
Ganja La trek adventure starts with a day’s bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trek begins from the course of Yanjing Gompa in Langtang to Tarke Gyang in Helambu crossing 5106m. Intersecting the Langtang Khola beneath Kyanjin Gompa, the trail makes a lofty move along the edge on the south side of the valley through the woods of rhododendron and juniper.
Ganja La trail proceeds with the south, after streams and moraines and climbing steeply towards the pass. The perspective towards the north from the go, of Langtang Lirung and the snow crests in Tibet, including Shisha Pangma at 8013m, are remarkable.
On a sunny morning, you can see the perspectives of many ranges towards the south. West of the pass is 5846m Naya Kangri named Ganja La Chuli. It is one of the trekking pinnacles and you can move with an allow from the Nepal Mountaineering Association. The trek as whole rewards you with outstanding views and hospitality resulting in a great holiday.

Disappointed - I am posting this very late but I have just come across my previous communication with the company which reminded me that I had forgotten to review. I did so... read more much research before our trip, we travel a lot and understand the importance of choosing the right company to make the experience perfect but also to ensure that the company support the local community. Kisan and the company had such good reviews and we're also personally recommended by a friend that we chose them. Right up until the day before the trip Kisan said that he would be our guide, we looked forward to learning so much from him as such an experienced guide. At the last minute he was unable to take us and we were sent with another guide. The guide we were sent instead was very nice, he was pleasant and helpful but it quickly became clear that he lacked the confidence and experience to bring the trip alive for us. We saw other guides chatting with their clients and pointing out interesting things. Our guide spent most of the time just chatting in Nepali with the porter and playing music on their phones, he often ignored us for hours at a time. We tried to engage him in conversation, he would answer our questions but then go back to chatting with the porter. We felt that we missed out on learning about Nepali culture and nature. We wanted to hear about the locals who greeted us and find out the history behind the villages we were passing through,we know how a good guide makes a trip. We suspected that he was more used to being a second guide or a porter rather than the main guide. When we got back to Kathmandu this was confirmed by a quick check on TripAdvisor in which our guide was mentioned several times as a secondary guide or porter but never as the main guide. I challenged this with the company, I didn't expect anything and knew it wouldn't change anything but hoped they would perhaps just apologise and learn from my feedback. Messages went back and forth in which I was told he was a qualified guide, I asked several times how much experience he'd had but the question was avoided. This reaction was really disappointing, after a long exchange of messages I got some kind of apology but it was really too late and left a sour taste to be honest. I'm sure that with one of the more experienced guides we would have had a different experience, as most other customers have, but we can only go on our experience. These types of holidays are once in a lifetime and I'm afraid that we felt that ours was a bit of a missed opportunity to be blown away by the beauty and culture.
