The other peaks you will witness are Buddha Himal, Himalchuli peak, and Ganesh Himal in the east and Annapurna Himalaya towards further west.

The trek enters enchanting forest lined with beautiful rhododendron, magnolia, birch and pine trees. These areas analog paradise in the spring, with varieties of flora and fauna.

The trek also allows you a close interaction with the different ethnic groups who reside in the hill villages. They are scattered along the trek route. The region is also termed the Manaslu Conservation Area. It comprises of the sub-tropical Himalayan foothills to barren Trans-Himalayan high pastures bordering Tibet.

Manaslu & Larke -la trekking starts with an interesting drive from Kathmandu to Arughat village in Gorkha district.  Then heading to higher greener valley through traditional Tibetan origin Gorkha Bhotias villages, we reach the amazing Manaslu valley at Samagaon and Samdu villages.

There you will be surrounded by high snowcapped mountains. After spending a wonderful time, we will be heading back for another adventure to the higher mountain range and to Larkya –La passes at 5,214 meters. It will be the highest point of this trip.

After we reach our main destination, we will spend some time in the Larkya-la pass. You can take pictures and enjoy the beautiful view that the place rewards. Then slowly we will descend towards at Annapurna circuit route around the Manang area to Dharapani village.

We will continue the trek to the Lamjung region and to Jagat village. From Jagat, we will drive back to Kathmandu after a magnificent and memorable time with MFN to Manaslu & Larkya-la. Enjoy the landscapes and dramatic sceneries on your drive back to Kathmandu.

In conclusion, Manaslu Larke Pass Trekking leads you to the highest land that is attached to Tibet where you get the opportunities to experience Tibetan-influenced cultures and faiths. Manaslu Trek has now developed new small tea houses and lodges along the trekking route.
