Breath taking Thorong la pass trekking - I was looking forward for the trip as this is my 2nd time trekking through Himalayan mountains range. It was such a great experience. Long beautiful trek. Our group led... read more by our guide Sumir, which I found him such an experience guy with lots of resources. There were few hiccups and he handled it very well. He was ready with his plan A,B, ...etc to make sure that we can continue on with our journey and well taken care off. We are all happy that we made it. I must thank Sumir and his team, Dharma, Suntos and the rest for making our adventure memorable. Hope we meet again in my next adventure in Nepal. Well done guys👍👍👍

They were very patient wt me as I was moving way too slow, but they were there all along encouraging all the way. Thank you!The sights were really beautiful and awesome and it would the main thing that will bring me back to Nepal again. I thoroughly recommend Sumir & team as your guide in Nepal!!
Crazy, Beautiful, and So Much More - Where do I even begin maybe the warm welcome at the airport? Can’t describe how much this experience meant to me and how life-altering it was — in the best... read more possible way, of course. No trip is seamless and perfect, and for every challenge, our guides were always there to accommodate. Special shout-out to Sumir for ensuring that our needs are tended to and for going out of his way every single time.
Disappointed - I am posting this very late but I have just come across my previous communication with the company which reminded me that I had forgotten to review. I did so... read more much research before our trip, we travel a lot and understand the importance of choosing the right company to make the experience perfect but also to ensure that the company support the local community. Kisan and the company had such good reviews and we're also personally recommended by a friend that we chose them. Right up until the day before the trip Kisan said that he would be our guide, we looked forward to learning so much from him as such an experienced guide. At the last minute he was unable to take us and we were sent with another guide. The guide we were sent instead was very nice, he was pleasant and helpful but it quickly became clear that he lacked the confidence and experience to bring the trip alive for us. We saw other guides chatting with their clients and pointing out interesting things. Our guide spent most of the time just chatting in Nepali with the porter and playing music on their phones, he often ignored us for hours at a time. We tried to engage him in conversation, he would answer our questions but then go back to chatting with the porter. We felt that we missed out on learning about Nepali culture and nature. We wanted to hear about the locals who greeted us and find out the history behind the villages we were passing through,we know how a good guide makes a trip. We suspected that he was more used to being a second guide or a porter rather than the main guide. When we got back to Kathmandu this was confirmed by a quick check on TripAdvisor in which our guide was mentioned several times as a secondary guide or porter but never as the main guide. I challenged this with the company, I didn't expect anything and knew it wouldn't change anything but hoped they would perhaps just apologise and learn from my feedback. Messages went back and forth in which I was told he was a qualified guide, I asked several times how much experience he'd had but the question was avoided. This reaction was really disappointing, after a long exchange of messages I got some kind of apology but it was really too late and left a sour taste to be honest. I'm sure that with one of the more experienced guides we would have had a different experience, as most other customers have, but we can only go on our experience. These types of holidays are once in a lifetime and I'm afraid that we felt that ours was a bit of a missed opportunity to be blown away by the beauty and culture.
