The Nar Phu Valley Trek is a genuine Himalayan wild experience that is as remarkable as it is gigantically wrapped between the Annapurna and Manaslu peaks. This trek is a genuine shrouded jewel that offers trekkers an uncommon chance to investigate untainted valleys that element a blend of crude Himalayan Nature and old Buddhist culture.
Nar Phu trek practically begins from Chamje following 9 hours driving from Kathmandu. We climb the same trail as Annapurna Circuit Trek. In the wake of touching base to Koto, we traverse the Marshyangdi River to the lofty gateways of the Nar Phu valley that is barely noticeable.
In spite of the fact that the passage is restricted and forested, the valley framework above opens up to an enormous span of high snow-crests, antiquated towns and high height brushing settlements.
Trekkers until late 2002, not very many westerners have investigated these for all intents and purposes. They have reached the untouched towns and climbed numerous 7000m pinnacles encompassing it. We will wander into this remote district of Nar Phu valley. Alongside investing a lot of energy at these bright and ageless towns, we investigate the high snowcapped valleys above Phu.

This will give you a chance to enjoy some ‘home comforts’ again. The surroundings in the lower regions become greener and more fertile on the last stretch. Then you will be returning by vehicle to Besisahar.

The Kang La (5315m) pass is astonishing. We may appreciate mountains see like Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho top. On your return, you will have to trek to Chame, Tal, and Chamje. From there you can come back to Kathmandu by open Jeep. On the off chance that you have time, you can likewise keep on Jomsom through Thorong La Pass.
Nar Phu is a true hidden masterpiece that rewards trekkers a rare opportunity to explore its untarnished valleys. These valleys feature a mix of raw Himalayan nature and ancient Buddhist culture. The ancient villages in this region have seen little changes over the centuries. The trekkers also get to experience a part of the Tibetan plateau that extends down into Nepal during this trek.
They also have the chance to glimpse the ever-elusive Snow Leopard.

Disappointed - I am posting this very late but I have just come across my previous communication with the company which reminded me that I had forgotten to review. I did so... read more much research before our trip, we travel a lot and understand the importance of choosing the right company to make the experience perfect but also to ensure that the company support the local community. Kisan and the company had such good reviews and we're also personally recommended by a friend that we chose them. Right up until the day before the trip Kisan said that he would be our guide, we looked forward to learning so much from him as such an experienced guide. At the last minute he was unable to take us and we were sent with another guide. The guide we were sent instead was very nice, he was pleasant and helpful but it quickly became clear that he lacked the confidence and experience to bring the trip alive for us. We saw other guides chatting with their clients and pointing out interesting things. Our guide spent most of the time just chatting in Nepali with the porter and playing music on their phones, he often ignored us for hours at a time. We tried to engage him in conversation, he would answer our questions but then go back to chatting with the porter. We felt that we missed out on learning about Nepali culture and nature. We wanted to hear about the locals who greeted us and find out the history behind the villages we were passing through,we know how a good guide makes a trip. We suspected that he was more used to being a second guide or a porter rather than the main guide. When we got back to Kathmandu this was confirmed by a quick check on TripAdvisor in which our guide was mentioned several times as a secondary guide or porter but never as the main guide. I challenged this with the company, I didn't expect anything and knew it wouldn't change anything but hoped they would perhaps just apologise and learn from my feedback. Messages went back and forth in which I was told he was a qualified guide, I asked several times how much experience he'd had but the question was avoided. This reaction was really disappointing, after a long exchange of messages I got some kind of apology but it was really too late and left a sour taste to be honest. I'm sure that with one of the more experienced guides we would have had a different experience, as most other customers have, but we can only go on our experience. These types of holidays are once in a lifetime and I'm afraid that we felt that ours was a bit of a missed opportunity to be blown away by the beauty and culture.
