Pisang Peak Climbing Brief Insight

Annapurna region has its own diversity in a variety of mountain and the scenery. The Pisang Peak is also located in the Annapurna region at the height of 6,091 meters.

The Pisang peak climbing is of medium difficulty, considerable technical and can be the perfect choice for beginner trekkers. Climbing this peak without any trekking experience and fitness is not possible. Yala peak climbing is the best warm-up trekking for beginners. We recommend to train some trekking technique and increase fitness level before doing this climbing.

The western flank of this Pisang peak has hanging glacier and encounters a considerable challenge. The western part of the peak has a huge rock slab making some obstacles during our climb. The Pisang peak rises above the upper Pisang village and yak grazing meadow in a uniform slope of ice and snow.

The medium difficulty level makes it one of the most popular peak climbing in Nepal. Challenging nature in the western Himalayas if Nepal is the ultimate happiness.

Pisang peak is situated in between the Annapurna I and Manaslu, both of them are of above 8,000m. To reach the base camp of the Pisang peak from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to a kharka at 4,380m, which is considered as the base camp for Pisang peak.

The wide range of natural scenery can be seen in this trek. From the very first day of our journey, we can see the beautiful landscape. Traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhara offer you the typical Nepali scene. After reaching Pokhara you feel like this is the place I don’t want to leave forever. The lakes and cave in Pokhara are just breathtaking.

Traveling from Pokhara to even higher altitude is quite satisfying. The forests covered by rhododendron and pine are at its best. The mountain desert in the upper part of the Pisang trekking route is awesome. The panoramic view from our way to the snow-capped mountain is spectacular.

Typical Nepali villagers and their welcome will satisfy you to be here in Nepal. For Nepalese “Guest is God” so we Nepali treat our guest as god and we know how to deal with god if we got to welcome them.

By then we will trek to Dharapani to reach Chame another day. The very next day after reaching Chame, we will head towards the Pisang village.
