Annapurna region has its own diversity in a variety of mountain and the scenery. The Pisang Peak is also located in the Annapurna region at the height of 6,091 meters.
The Pisang peak climbing is of medium difficulty, considerable technical and can be the perfect choice for beginner trekkers. Climbing this peak without any trekking experience and fitness is not possible. Yala peak climbing is the best warm-up trekking for beginners. We recommend to train some trekking technique and increase fitness level before doing this climbing.
The western flank of this Pisang peak has hanging glacier and encounters a considerable challenge. The western part of the peak has a huge rock slab making some obstacles during our climb. The Pisang peak rises above the upper Pisang village and yak grazing meadow in a uniform slope of ice and snow.
The medium difficulty level makes it one of the most popular peak climbing in Nepal. Challenging nature in the western Himalayas if Nepal is the ultimate happiness.
Pisang peak is situated in between the Annapurna I and Manaslu, both of them are of above 8,000m. To reach the base camp of the Pisang peak from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to a kharka at 4,380m, which is considered as the base camp for Pisang peak.
The wide range of natural scenery can be seen in this trek. From the very first day of our journey, we can see the beautiful landscape. Traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhara offer you the typical Nepali scene. After reaching Pokhara you feel like this is the place I don’t want to leave forever. The lakes and cave in Pokhara are just breathtaking.
Traveling from Pokhara to even higher altitude is quite satisfying. The forests covered by rhododendron and pine are at its best. The mountain desert in the upper part of the Pisang trekking route is awesome. The panoramic view from our way to the snow-capped mountain is spectacular.
Typical Nepali villagers and their welcome will satisfy you to be here in Nepal. For Nepalese “Guest is God” so we Nepali treat our guest as god and we know how to deal with god if we got to welcome them.
Notes: Costs are prone to change in itinerary. So costs will be recalculated if the trekking days get modified.
Being moderate technical trekking, it has more climbers than the other peak. The very first point of the trip is started in Kathmandu and then travel to Pokhara. From Pokhara, we will be heading towards the Syangja and then rest there. The official trekking starts here.
By then we will trek to Dharapani to reach Chame another day. The very next day after reaching Chame, we will head towards the Pisang village. Crossing Pisang village we will stand on the Pisang base camp. From the base camp, we are supposed to do camping trek. Every day we have to carry the necessary camping accessories.
The trip can be completed in 18-22 days, which is a moderate range of trekking duration. If you have a will to stay more time in the mountain then we can surely extend our trip duration. If you don’t want any other expenses and just want to climb the Pisang then we can shorten our trip too.
The total cost for the expedition is given, which is relatively reasonable than others. Quality service at a reasonable price is our main goal. We look forward to work with you don’t hesitate to do the trip with us.
Best Trekking Company In Nepal!! - I have just finished the most beautiful experience of trekking in Nepal with Mount Face Nepal. Company owner and them staff always helpful during the booking process and trip itself.... read more My guide is well experienced and he knows everything about trekking route and there’s atmosphere. Will highly recommended this company those who planning to Nepal trek.
Disappointed - I am posting this very late but I have just come across my previous communication with the company which reminded me that I had forgotten to review. I did so... read more much research before our trip, we travel a lot and understand the importance of choosing the right company to make the experience perfect but also to ensure that the company support the local community. Kisan and the company had such good reviews and we're also personally recommended by a friend that we chose them. Right up until the day before the trip Kisan said that he would be our guide, we looked forward to learning so much from him as such an experienced guide. At the last minute he was unable to take us and we were sent with another guide. The guide we were sent instead was very nice, he was pleasant and helpful but it quickly became clear that he lacked the confidence and experience to bring the trip alive for us. We saw other guides chatting with their clients and pointing out interesting things. Our guide spent most of the time just chatting in Nepali with the porter and playing music on their phones, he often ignored us for hours at a time. We tried to engage him in conversation, he would answer our questions but then go back to chatting with the porter. We felt that we missed out on learning about Nepali culture and nature. We wanted to hear about the locals who greeted us and find out the history behind the villages we were passing through,we know how a good guide makes a trip. We suspected that he was more used to being a second guide or a porter rather than the main guide. When we got back to Kathmandu this was confirmed by a quick check on TripAdvisor in which our guide was mentioned several times as a secondary guide or porter but never as the main guide. I challenged this with the company, I didn't expect anything and knew it wouldn't change anything but hoped they would perhaps just apologise and learn from my feedback. Messages went back and forth in which I was told he was a qualified guide, I asked several times how much experience he'd had but the question was avoided. This reaction was really disappointing, after a long exchange of messages I got some kind of apology but it was really too late and left a sour taste to be honest. I'm sure that with one of the more experienced guides we would have had a different experience, as most other customers have, but we can only go on our experience. These types of holidays are once in a lifetime and I'm afraid that we felt that ours was a bit of a missed opportunity to be blown away by the beauty and culture.
